 When to go to Lebanon
Summer (June - August) is the peak time for visitors, although ironically the country is probably at its best in the May. October is also a good time to visit. During these months temperatures drop to a more manageable level and countrywide temperatures are at their most pleasant.

The highlands of Lebanon enjoy heavy snowfall each winter, and winter resorts such as Faraya, The Cedars and Zaarour welcome ski and snowboard enthusiasts from all over the world. January and February are the best months to visit Lebanon for Skiing.

 Lebanese Climate
Climate in Lebanon: Lebanon has a moderate Mediterranean climate.

In coastal areas of Lebanon, winters are generally cool and rainy whilst summers are hot and humid.

In more elevated areas, temperatures usually drop below 0°C during the winter with frequent snow.

Summers in Lebanon, on the other hand, are warm and dry. Although most of Lebanon receives a relatively large amount of rainfall annually, certain areas in north-eastern Lebanon receive little rainfall because the high peaks of the western mountain front block much of the rain clouds that originate over the Mediterranean Sea.
