When to go to Lebanon
Summer (June - August) is the peak time for visitors, although ironically the country is probably at its best in the May.
October is also a good time to visit. During these months temperatures drop to a more manageable level and countrywide temperatures are at their most pleasant.

Lebanon has a moderate Mediterranean climate.
In coastal areas of Lebanon, winters are generally cool and rainy whilst summers are hot and humid.
In more elevated areas, temperatures usually drop below 0°C during the winter with frequent snow.
Summers in Lebanon, on the other hand, are warm and dry. Although most of Lebanon receives a relatively large amount of rainfall annually, certain areas in north-eastern Lebanon receive little rainfall because the high peaks of the western mountain front block much of the rain clouds that originate over the Mediterranean Sea.
